Someone from your same IP block was caught with spam. IP should be lifted from the shitlist by the time you read this.

Not at all, the ISP does seem to have a broad coverage, so it count be someone a couple 100 miles away from me.

Getting 403, my IP is 70.80.94.79, according to what >>14 linked to. I've had this problem from this computer for a few days, but that's when I first tried looking at the boards, so I thought it was a connection problem on my end at first.
Speaking of spam, there was a spammer in the Touhou H board on Tuesday. It was short-lived, but he managed to make a bit more than a page's worth of spam topics. They start on page 1.

I have banned several insistent IPs trying to access resources that isn't supposed to be accessed, and my error log is rising like crazy. If you are a legitimate user and somehow has been snagged by the ban, please tell me at once.

I'm getting a 403 on Pooshlmer now that I've moved to Japan. I made a note in the "ITT You Are Banned" thread thinking that perhaps it was a ban, but no response. Is there anything completely obvious about this situation that I am just not aware of (i.e. all Japanese IPs are banned)?
For the record, my IP is 220.214.163.116 and I do not use FasterFox or anything of that nature.
This is the problem: orochi herman's boards are the biggest resource suck on my domain. I'm on Dreamhost's VPS service right now, and have capped the available memory, as to avoid paying $300/month for a hobby of mine; this leads to times when the server simply can't take all the requests coming at it, leading to 403 errors.
The solutions, such as they are, are either for orochi to move to his own server (which seems unlikely, as I've spoken to him, and he has less money that I do), or someone else to pick up hosting his boards.
If he doesn't move the boards, I wouldn't mind hosting Vocaloid, Typemoon-H and Touhou-H.

How much can you handle? /unc/, /tmh/ and /t-h/ are the bestsellers of the roster, and a joint-management terms wouldn't be a problem. I understand anon's concerns, and I want a midway solution for now until I can get my own hosting.

re my post just now, it seems he can access the board fine, and view some images fine, but has problems viewing images that I send him in instant messages (links directly to the image). When he goes to the thread the image is in by himself, and clicks it, he can view it fine that way, and then he can view the image link that I sent him...so I'm thinking it's some kind of cookie/referrer error or something?

Latest complaints of 403s has no entries in the shitlist whatsoever.
Are you sure your ISPs or firewall are putting up referrer information properly? The site has anti-leech stuff, so if for privacy reasons it gives different referrer information, you'll get 403s.

If he's behind the college proxy (if one exists) when browsing, that is a potential cause.
I haven't been adding IP blocks to ban as of late, only webserver/webservices IPs.
