Oh, I just realized why I was banned without even visiting... I had an old queue in DownThemAll and the crawl settings were too aggressive. I've read the pointers in the other forum regarding mass downloading and have told DTA to only use one thread and 50kb/s bandwidth when crawling image threads, hopefully that is fair enough.

I was just with multi tabs and saving pictures using DownThemAll, I didn't post or any troll activity. I've been using this Imageboard for years a now this happened..I wish to know why.

First time to this site, and all I did was have the text-to-image addon running which caused double-images of everything on the board. I blacklisted the site on the addon so that that didn't happen, and it banned me. Wasn't using any kind of ripper program or anything.

Unbanned. As far as I can tell, that addon is what caused you to be banned in the first place, not blacklisting the site with it.
Banned again (fetish), restored crashed browser session which had quite a few board tabs open, which probably flooded your servers when it had to reload them all... Sorry for that.

Is there a way to download the thread images en-mass without putting strain on the server and getting booted, because it would be nice to have a back-up of a thread once it dies.

That's not how Wakaba works. There is no captcha cookie, all the info is stored server-side in an SQL table.
