How is "everyone in the world dies" not a good ending?No, seriously, it's depressing but good, you totally should watch it.
Better yet, read the manga. Has a BETTER ending than the anime, and all the plot-building softcore porn scenes are still intact.Still, anime is beautiful and the OVA's are excellent additions to it.First time I read it I would go into random fits of depression it was so intense. As long as it's your type of anime/manga.

If I didn't know better, I'd say they let gainax make that ending. The world is randomly destroyed for no apparent reason... wat?
