Okay, when I'm drawing a line then stop then try to continue the line, or try to draw lots of short hatches, OC likes to wait a moment before drawing.. Is this normal or is something wrong with my pad?

Turning off the option to hold pen down as right click seemed to fix it. Thanks for the help guys!
