23656 No.2647

"Rome – Italians reacted with outrage on Tuesday after a European court ruled that displaying crucifixes in the country's schools violated the principle of secular education.

Italy's education minister condemned the judgment by the European Court of Human Rights, saying that the Christian cross was a symbol of the country's Roman Catholic religion and cultural identity."

  • It has been claimed that Soile Lautsi [a Finn] is responsible for this weeabooism.

Not that I support religions or other mental disorders, but it's a good point. I mean, come on - if we didn't have religions, half of the popula wouldn't have been born and the rest would've mastered stargates. Or developed non-smelly cauliflower.

Good. If they want religion in schools, then science should be in churches. With preachers, pastors, vicars, priests, cardinals, even the Pope sacked, and replaced with the likes of Richard Dawkins; with the Bible replaced with On The Origin of Species, A Brief History of Time, The God Delusion etc.

Fair's fair.

Italians are probably one of the most religious people in the EU. I would've expected something like this.

>EU

According to recent studies & polls by the EU, the Czech Republic is the least religious country in Europe.

See, America? A nation NOT 'Under God'. Because they know one doesn't exist. It hasn't done them any harm. Why not try it sometime, USA? It won't kill you.
