Just a couple quick questions.
1) Does anyone know the actual name/file for the song in this intro? Seems like a bit of drama in the comments there on Pouet (intro perhaps not even by the real Skid Row?), but I just like the song :I

2) I've really only lurked this board over the years, and apparently haven't been here for a while as I just noticed the shutdown message on the main iiichan page... I think I still have a HumbleFool link or two bookmarked on an old machine or harddrive somewhere.
What hope is there for /music/'s future? It always seemed like the board was a competent source of information and contribution. I'm sure there are plenty of other venues for this type of scene, but this place always seemed to be more accessible. Is anyone taking the reigns before January's shutdown?

mybad, forgot to provide a link to the actual intro:

Dunno about the intro, but that shutdown message is actually from last year. All the other boards shut down or migrated to other chans, but this one's still kicking (although it's really slow). Don't know if HF ever gave a reason why.

For some reason it seemed to sound a bit out of tune in patterns 10 and 11, so I adjusted things a bit.

Anyway, this song is really great and I like it a lot, thanks for posting it.

Thanks. It's probably a combination of me being lazy with portamento and having a pretty bad sense of pitch. You should hear me try to tune a guitar.

This may be one of my greatest works yet. (It might not sound right in anything other than OpenMPT)

hello fellow musicians,

i just released a short album that i've been working on over the past few years, and i'd love to hear your thoughts on it. If you're into artists like Boards of Canada, Flying Lotus, Clark, or Odd Nosdam it'll probably be up your alley.

Hello, fellow iiichanners.

We are a stoner/hard rock band from Brazil and we have just recorded our first album, all by ourselves. It is available for free download/streaming at http://sednamusic.bandcamp.com .

Many thanks in advance and sorry for the inconvenience (since we aren't supported by any label, this is our only way of getting our work to be seen).

Greetings from BR!
