Hey! Did you know that I'm dirt-poor? If you appreciate this website, feel free to send along some cash!
>>1446showdown with yabai-san?
>>1573 I stand corrected. I'd meant "God of Fail" in a more figurative way, but didn't really make it clear. Things always sound better in your own head.

I'm pretty sure shinto doesn't work that way.
Requesting source, please.
>>1606chaos;head(don't watch the anime. the game isn't that fantastic either, and neither contain any actual miko)
We're lovers on the moon. We carry our harpoons...
I fucking swear shinto priests are absolutely perverts, otherwise they would have packed so much perversion potential into their miko outfits.
im sorry but when i think of a flying miko the only thing that comes to mind is... well, you know
>>1517
>>1521Now that's not miko at all.

Oops, sorry, thought it said "Mi-Go".
Suddenly, Canisters for you Brain!

You know, I've always preferred the Great Race Of Yith when considering aliens with yet-unknown moral systems that don't give a damn how they treat humans in order to study them.Although, I'd guess, Mi-Go are more about doing the testing themselves and the Great Race Of Yith are more about taking over their bodies and bringing stolen knowledge back with them.
OP is a fun guy but not from Yuggoth.
Miko Lind & Belldandy (cross-posted from /amg/). The shrine they worked at would be a VERY popular one, methinks.
Nice shop
>>1478 >Nice shop>shopDoes it really matter? As long as it shows the lovely Lind & bell as Mikos, that's the important thing.

because Bell owns/lives in a Buddhist temple, it's unlikely she would dress up as a Shinto shrine maiden
>>1491I don't think that matters much. For starters, Japanese Buddhism and Shinto share a huge amount of common ground. Japanese Buddhism has "borrowed" a lot of dogma from Shinto.Furthermore if Bell--a goddess with nothing whatsoever to do with Buddhism--has no problem living at a Buddhist shrine, what would the problem be with her being involved with a Shinto shrine?

>>1492Hold on, Buddhism was born in India then migrated east to China and finally to Japan. You mean Shinto "borrowed" a lot of dogma from Buddhism.

>>1514 Actually, I mean a bit of both. You are correct in how Buddhism reached Japan, but once established there it continued to change, absorbing bits of local beliefs (Shinto). Modern Japanese Buddhism is not the same as what was first created in India.

Hells Bells, people....forget the specifics.../I'd/ worship at their shrine. Just throw Peorth and Skuld and Urd into the mix and it would be epic.

Would anyone know a good site for getting a shrine priest/priestess outfit? Preferably of medium of high quality?
Bump
A real one, or a cosplay one?
Either one actually. I wouldn't mind either of them.
