Most countries in Europe are not actually "socialist" despite what the party-in-power calls themselves.

It's also quite funny: my business has a lot of customers in Europe. I like to talk Politics with them, and we all have our differing opinions regarding government (as most people do). However, nearly every one of them asks me to declare a low value on shipments that I send them so they can avoid VAT (tax). If you like your government so much, why not pay the tax?

Remember this, the next time someone suggests that a socialist economy (or socialized health care) is a good idea:

There have been very few TRUE socialist governments worldwide. A few examples were/are the USSR, East Germany, and North Korea.

Ever notice how nobody ever wanted to ENTER those countries on the own free will?
