So, I'm coming to the one place I know I can get a proper fanwank going on.Here is my theory:Gunbuster, Diebuster and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann are more than connected by similar themes and sybolics. In Diebuster, we find that humans have shut themselves away in the solar system, no longer reaching amongst the stars. Not only that, but buster machines are only pilotable by a select few, the Topless. We later find out that the topless are actually evolved humans that are psychically identical to the space monsters. This means that humanity was evolving to bacome the next antivirus of the galaxy. Evolution is an effect of spiral power, which flowed through humans because of their guts and determination. The humans of the Diebuster era, became the first spiral knights, to prevent the space monsters from returning. Continues in next post
