and it was replaced with a fucking garden

>> No.309

Has anyone here seen "Kakurenbo?" Holy fuck, that is a freaky movie. It takes place in a district(?) identical to the Walled City, but the community is entirely independent and... well... watch it. But keep the lights on.

>> No.311

Man, if Kowloon still existed I'd pay more to live there than for a McMansion is the finest suburb.

The city was the definition of freedom, aside from the short period of Triad rule over the city it was a peaceful and happy place to live for it's residents, sure it smelled like shit, needed some cleaning, and probably didn't have cable, but the people were happy and free from the chains of an over bearing government that just wanted control over the people.

Keep in mind those cradles were fucking huge, you really couldn't get a sense of the scale from the 2 possible missions that took place on or around them, think 4 or 5 New York's worth of space.

Meh, "Freedom Tower". I like the designs for 2 WTC and 3 WTC better.
BTW, those are 175 Greenwich and 200 Greenwich in my pic.

>> No.266

oh where were you?

>> No.275

I still think they should have built three towers in similar design to the original WTC. But The two towers on the ends would be half the height of the tower in the middle, sending a very New York message to those in the world who want to cause trouble. "fuck you"

Ah, the Kamo river. That's a nice picture of it, certainly looks nicer than last time I saw it. Maybe you just have to be there when there is actually water. Kyoto as a whole is a weird mix of things I hate and things that are actually cool.
