The album is, in fact, a bunch of music that was composed for a contest that was hosted at vgmusic.com. In case anyone is interested in listening to this album, it is available for download here:

Be warned if you have a slow connection - it's quite large (132MB). Well worth listening to, though.
In this contest, every participant had to submit two samples. Then, once all the samples had been submitted, they were compiled together as one pack.
Then, everyone had to make a song using only the samples contained in the samplepack.
