Hey! Did you know that I'm dirt-poor? If you appreciate this website, feel free to send along some cash!
Just bought a tablet PC (Fujitsu Lifebook T4010, all the expensive options on it, used for $380!) and was trying out Open Canvas on it. Pic ain't great, but I think the look is pretty close to my paper efforts...and yes, I know the chic is HEAVILY lopsided. But was too far into the pic to really give a shit at that point.
Still open canvas...
They both look really good. A lot better brighter. The girl does have a few issues but they're minor and you already seem aware of the lopsidedness. And much credit for actually giving a female hips, rare find in art nowadays.I like the coloring of the second picture a lot. You seem to actually do better on the tablet. Only concern is his left arm in the back. It seems off. Nice work.

I recolored LOSER in Open Canvas 1.1. I like this version better as far as the coloring goes...
I bought Open Canvas 4.5 and this is my first pic in it...unfortunately, this one came out looking more synthetic. I have to figure out the tools better...watching some of the event files from other users just leaves me puzzled...they look real and all, but I can't really figure out a lot about what they're doing...
Glad to see that you're still at it.I enjoy the coloring of the first "Loser" pic more. But i think thats just your choice of colors in that one.I think the coloring of the blue hair girl looks great. It plays a lot more to your style. It flows, keeping with the simplicity that you're going for. The picture itself is very good. Only one complaint, very little though:The right arm on the knee looks stiff. Just add a slight bend to have it feel more natural. Kudos on your color choice. Keep it up!
