He looks white. The mouth is wonky, the hair looks boring, like he washed it with some cheap ass schampoo without using conditioner, and from the sight of it, I believe he slept with his headgear on. The left piece has sort of, wandered from the side of his head, unto his forehead.
I suppose also his neck is very long.

Drawn without any reference to Eclair; I was away from my computer for a week when I did this and was working from hazy memory. I'm more interested in critique on anatomy more than any errors with Eclair’s uniform and such (but feel free to poke at those too if you wish).

If I find time to work on more then I shall try.
I had a week off work away from home and had plently of time to draw. This was just a re-draw of a picture I drew 4 years ago... Except this one looks a hell of a lot better as I aimed to correct the errors from before (i.e. her head isn't waaaay to big).
I also did this one as a re-draw of an old image. Original character, not Eclair though ^^;;
It still doesn't look right, but again it's better then the original.

The biggest flaw in this is the palette and its contrasts. The hair just doesn't HAVE shadows, whereas the skin's shadows are barely visible and the jacket has hard contrast. You should try to balance it a little more. If you find this difficult, you can try making a layer with palette colours, duplicating it and moving it next to the original layer, and adjusting its darkness/lightness and things like that. By this, you should get at least a little more balanced look.

Well I thought I should mostly critique the colouring since you said you don't know how to use PS.

As for the anatomy, I think the most problems are with the head. Its posture is a little stiff and weird and makes me wonder why it's like that, though, I think it looks pretty cute anyway. I think the top of her head is a little too low and too flat and her chin should be pulled to right a bit when we look at her mouth's position. The upper palm seems a bit too big as well.

They're cute nonetheless, you just need more practice with Photoshop and a few anatomical fixes. Keep up the good work!

Err, I think the contrast is still off. The shadows of her shirt's black part are clearly visible and hard, whereas the skin's and the shirt's white parts' shadows are well, barely visible. You should make those overly light shadows darker.

This one's inking isn't the best, and the arms and shoulders are messed up.

Foreshortening is really cool and adds depth, but if it's not dynamic it's kind of boring like this.

I'm glad I've gotten some positive remarks for once. :)

This set has kind of been an experiment. I don't know how Japanese manga artist do it, but I've been trying out an American method. I've been making large drawings and then reducing the size of the final product (by using photoshop). This allows me to make my inking nicer and then once the size is reduced any messy inking is all but unnoticeable.

Anyways, this is the last set I'll do for awhile. Mainly just experimenting.

Any comments and critiques are welcome. Heck, I'd even take some anatomy ones.

There's still lot of work here. Mostly anatomy issues/body structure, perspective and foreshortening.
Most of these drawings look like they're drawn without any pose reference, therefore they got some issues.

The hair looks like a white, wet dog that's been beated to death and slapped on her head as a wig.

Her other arm looks like an amputee stump, heck... both of them looks like that.
Left one needs to stand more out from her torso, and the right one needs something that shows that it doesnt end that abruptly.

I've studied anatomy quite extensively the past two years, but I do screw up without looking at an anatomy book or a sketch I've done from life, which I didn't do for any of these.

Study hairflow and think that you are drawing strands of hair, not big bunches.
Hair differs very much depending on the person, so it might be a bit hard to say how hair should look like.

One thing I kinda like is that you've not been so very afraid of taking on hard angles and all that. And I can sense there's some inherent strenght in your artistic vision, even though none of these pictures are particularly good. It's just small things you notice.

I suggest you keep at it, because I think you could develop well. You just need to give it much more time.
And by that I don't mean; spend another 5 years drawing the way you do now. I mean, take more of your spare-time to draw.
Talent here is an incredible asset. If you become good enough you could make a living. It will always be a rewarding thing to fall back to when you need to vent yourself. People will admire your talent if you're into that shit...

Oh cool, bitch is making a game. Tell me, will this be primarily a dating game or will it have its emphasis on porn?
Will it be open end, multiple path?
Will it be; play that one guy, get any girl, or will the choice of player character be open, i.e. decide your character, appearance, goods and bads?
Will characters and player character develop under gameplay based on choices?

Will it be generic as fuck and thus suck massive cocks?
So far the characters seem typical enough. How I would love some ingenuity. Why are there never ordinary looking girls too? lol, it would be awesome to have 'the ugly fat chick who has an annoying crush on you'. Why is she never in these games, it would add contrast and flavour.

Still, I think this is awesome nonetheless, great initiative, hope you'll be able to finish it.

I'd like to offer some crits;
You should make the feet a bit bigger, at least while they're wearing shoes, to give a more balanced impression. Also practice drawing legs at dynamic angles, that last sketch is weak, mainly due to the legs and feets, and the hands of the right side girl are quirky as hell. You should seriously change these things if you're planning on using that sketch.

It won't be a straight forward fucking game. Your personality will develop as the game progresses, although in the end, you'll probably end up fucking one (or more?) of the girls.

I'm playing several dating sims nowadays to get a feel for what's been overdone and what could be included.

Please make it a lot about everyday life too, like you put in time for studies and part-time job, you get to decide how to plan your time and that will affect the outcome and the oppertunities you get. Add a lot of dead ends and back roads in character interaction, and choices that might drastically change your relationship to certain characters. Don't make it to easy to get close to characters, there should be a lot of potential for fail, as well as the potential to push that very special button that makes everything very easy. In short make the game at large and character interaction a bit more dynamic. It makes for a much more interesting experience, and the game itself more replayable.

Also one thing I think you should add, is interactive sex. Like you get to decide how and perhaps also where you do it, and the actual act would be like a mini-game in itself, where you'd have to worry about making the girl feel good while holding yourself back.
Alternative outcomes here that could affect the game would be fucking awesome.

And something I feel is missing, after having played a lot of these games, is the prospect of actually continuing to date a girl after you've actually nailed her. Having to work it out and keep her happy and basically just trying to keep her. Or ditch her if you don't like her, etc.
