Maybe you can try taking it to someone who specializes in reapiring, or if you are skilled enough, sand out the scuffs yourself and repaint, although unless you've done it before, I'd probably say you should find someone who is good at reapiring damaged sculptures or models

It's a good idea, but I don't even know of any hobby shops in the area, let alone being willing to trust one with my first figure.

The damage to the hair should be relatively easy to fix, but I'm not sure if I should risk mending the skirt, as I obviously don't want to worsen the mark.

Yes, those. I don't know if there's a formal term for it, so I just call them their "summer uniforms". The whole cast switches from white long-sleeve blouses and vests to shirt-sleeve blue shirts in episodes set in warmer weather.

It depends on the severity of the mark, but if you find any shops that have modelling supplies, you can usually find super, super fine grit sandpaper that works wonders for polishing out small scuffs, but a repaint is definitely needed after, and matching colors is a terrible, terrible pain.

I can't give you numbers/chapters as it has been a while.

Though anything not really contributing to the progression of the series would be considered as filler. Filler in the sense that it may be giving the reader a break between stories, more so coming off a long arc too.

Of course nowadays when the term "filler" is used, it tends to have more bad connotations in that the story really is going nowhere and is just utterly pointless in a bad way

That or i could just be mistaking with some one shots as filler when they may have some underlying purpose (as not all one shots I would consider filler or irrelevant to the progression of the series)

I don't mind at all Fujishima going off on some tangent that has no real relation to the story in any shape or form. He does decent stories and even better characters :D

Oh please, we had an entire books worth of chapters just about them actually getting to the gate to the underworld, an entire book for an event that could've been resolved in a couple of chapters.

Play symantics if you will, but the fact is that this has seen less and less decent story arcs contributing to character development over the last few years, it really is sad.

Actually the whole point of having that many chapters was due to character development, if they had rushed, you wouldn't have gotten any of that character development and a greater explanation of the Goddess/Demon balance

Actually no, we didn't get any of that at all, we had no real elaboration of the new villains, and what little 'character development' went on there was either treading old ground or exploiting the characters for the sake of a gag while at the same time pretty much destroying pre-established character traits.

As for development, we got to see more about Hild as a leader, and a little bit of development in her interactions with Urd and Rind, not to mention more of Peorth and Rind and their relationship.

Gee i don't know, you tell me, what exactly is OOC when Belldandy swears revenge over the house getting demolished which is a regular occurance, Lind screwing up magic and then freaking out, even though we've seen in her original appearance her professionalism and control over magic is comparable to Belldandy's. If anything the house seen derails the characters, not just Lind for her behaviour, but the others for overreacting to how their house was rearranged to be slightly askew when they could've easily fixed the problem, it doesn't add to their character it makes them look utterly petty and Hild moreso for trying to take advantage of it.

What we saw with Hild was mostly nothing new, other than she's a flirt who uses her whiles to keep people off balance or a stand-offish relationship with her daughter, Peorth and Rind, they only have a few speech bubbles of dialogue between them and what we can glean is that they're both co-workers with a friendly relationship, and Lind is relaxing a bit more, but that could be easily anticipated since the end of her original arc.

Very, very little, but do actually need to reinforce their relationship even now, after so many times of them constantly reinforcing their i love yous in such a manner it would seem there's hardly anything to develop.

Well on the issue of the house, the characters do get upset, but its not out of character, first off, its not that the house was destroyed, but that it was warped and was not able to be fixed, that i actually worse than it just being destroyed, as destroyed they can fix, this they cannot, also Belldandy doesn't vow revenge, but she does feel that justice should be meted out for what has happened, that's not out of character, Belldandy isn't saying that she wants to torture or kill the person who did this, making them pay from her point of view could just mean putting it back properly, probably does mean that considering how much she likes things to be clean and orderly.

As for Rind, she didn't actually show skill at magic in her first appearance, she showed power, but not skill, and it makes sense, she probably knows a few spells, but since she's spent her life working at being a super soldier, she has neglected her training in other fields. As a result while she has a lot of power, Magic, like repairing something, takes precision and control that she doesn't have. Showing her as bad at magic isn't out of character.

As for being a bit freaking out at the other characters, that just shows that she realizes just how badly she screwed up, plus we've already seen that Rind has loosened up a bit, so she's less the super serious person that she was in the Angel eater arc, its called character growth.

That just makes that seem incredibly petty, even if they couldn't restore then they could always just destroy and rebuild again, not to mention the fact that they react to this in such a way while they remain perfectly calm and collected when Hild explained that Hagall's aggression could lead to a new war between heaven and hell just makes them seem at worst petty and selfish, and at best incredibly short sighted.

Actually yes it is out of character, at the end of her arc she worked together with Belldandy to restore the house from the castle that Urd and Peorth turned it into. As a valkyrie, or any kind of soldier, she needs to maintain discipline and decisiveness in order to deal with the situations her duties require of her, to say she lacks the skill or power to do something as seemingly simple as rebuild a house, even though she holds a 1st class license like Belldandy, is quite honestly ridiculous and actually says more bad things about how heaven trains its elite fighting force, to send an extremely powerful goddess into a combat zone without proper control of her own powers.

Once again, that just shows either Rind is ill suited to her job or heaven doesn't train their forces properly, she's supposed to be an elite super soldier who goes into dangerous situations by herself to resolve major problems, if she is so easily rattled over this then that shows she's not ready for her duties, which directly contradicts her original presentation as being an ice cold operative who makes quick and decisive actions. I have no problem with making Lind more friendly and personal, but that doesn't mean her character needs to be derailed, does being more human mean she has to suddenly suck at her job?

They tried that, it didn't work, Urd destroyed it and Bellandy tried to put it back, but it remained warped, its not Petty, how would you like to come home and find your house had been twisted and warped? Even if you could put it back, you'd still be a little upset and want to see the person who did it get punished for doing it. They aren't saying they are going to hurt Hagall, but they are saying that they want justice, nothing petty in that. No its because war is something more abstract, its a potential problem, seeing your house warped is more real, more visible. A full scale war might start tomorrow, but seeing your house damaged, would be the more pressing and concrete problem, whereas the war is only a possibility.

She helped Belldandy, but that doesn't mean she could do it on her own, Belldandy as we've seen is very skilled magic user, able to best those who are more powerful, so her ability to repair the house with Rind lending the raw power is understandable, Rind may not have Magic skill, just raw power, and Belldandy who has less power but a lot more skill was the one doing the actual repairs.

Having battle skills is different than having magical talent, her magic may be entirely focused on making her stronger and faster and more agile, as we saw she could break boulders, and even fight without both of her angels. Also the battle first class license might be a totally different skill set than Belldandy's license. She may have discipline and focus, but all of it focused on Battle for so many years, not the other stuff that she probably didn't consider all that important.

I recently paid 75 per character for the other 3 pieces.

Unfortunately I will not get them for some time, as I will not get the proofs until he starts working on them and he has a few commissions ahead of me.
