It's been a long road for iiichan. We launched 6 years ago as foolchan, then moved to this address in 2007. I've enjoyed hosting the imageboards and other projects here.

But I'll admit, I've been something of an absentee landlord for the last year or two. It turns out that I'm just not that interested in imageboards anymore, nor the moderation of them.

So I'm sad to announce that I'm closing down the imageboard section of iiichan this coming January.

Obviously, I'd like to find new hosting for most of the boards here -- /amg/ is the most active, and seems like it could find a home someplace, but others, like /news/ or /ocs/, seem too dead to consider passing on.

If you're interested in rehosting any board I currently host, please contact humble.fool@gmail.com with your plans. I can provide the current databases and image folders, as well as general suggestions for managing the boards (and a hearty endorsement of my current host, Dreamhost), as well as a forwarding link from their current location on this domian.

This shutdown includes the boards and sub-boards hosted on /fetish/, which are also now looking for hosting.

I will be keeping this domain up and running, mostly for redirection purposes and for the various subdomains that I host here.

I've had a lot of fun being a part of iichan/wakachan over the last five years, but as I said above, I'm not giving the boards the attention they need, and think it's best that I moved on.
